"Attend the minute particulars"

William Blake

Welcome

Analytical psychology, also known as Jungian Psychology, is a therapeutic, in-depth approach to working with the inherent natural healing properties of an individual’s psyche. Just as physical distress can be alleviated with proper treatment and support, so too can psychological suffering be alleviated and emotional wellness achieved, given the correct attention, care, supportive environment, exploration and guidance.

Often one seeks analysis or psychotherapy when outer life events, and/or inner turmoil cause a level of discomfort, dissatisfaction or depression that does not subside on its own.  Daily life may no longer be enjoyable until attention is given to the issue at hand.

Additionally, one may seek support to address a longstanding desire to seek a more meaningful life beyond the initial roles, rules and responsibilities designed for the first half of life. The process of living life with the conviction that you are deepening your sense of your true self, fully knowing who you are and discovering what is truly important to you in the second half of life is what C. G. Jung called the path of individuation.

Carl Jung was one of the creators of modern depth psychology, which seeks to facilitate a conversation with the unconscious energies which move through each of us. He contributed many ideas which continue to inform contemporary life, such as the complex, archetype, persona, shadow, anima and animus, personality type (introvert, extravert) dream interpretation, and individuation. He encouraged a creative life and considered spirituality to be a central part of the human journey.
